A key aim for Mitcham CC in 2024 is to grow the size of our girls section - the junior Sapphires. We want to welcome more girls to the fun of playing cricket and making new friends.

As a first step we will be running an Indoor Cricket Camp over 3 afternoons in February Half Term. With support from the Wimbledon Foundation we are able to offer this experience to up to 20 girls aged between 8 and 11 years for only £30 - the price includes a Dynamos t-shirt.

The Camp will run 12.30 to 15.30 on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February in the Sports Hall at the Canons Leisure Centre - Madeira Rd, Mitcham CR4 4HD (a short walk from our Cricket Green).

The Camp will be run by our experienced ECB qualified coaches, who are all DBS checked. The coaching team will be led by our women's captain Julia Gault.

The activities are all played with soft ball and we will provide all equipment. Participants just need to come in suitable clothes to play indoor sport and with a drink bottle.
