AGM 2023 7.30pm Thursday 30th November at the pavilion

The Club AGM which will take place in the pavilion. All full Club members are eligible to attend and vote, if you do attend please note the earlier start time and remember to dress warmly! We would like to thank you for your continued support of our historic club.

The agenda for the meeting is in Annual Report attached to this article. The Report includes photos and news from our 2023 season. You can read about the performances of all our teams, including our League winning 2nd XI, triumphs in our junior section and the Sapphires’ first win in league cricket.

As you’d expect, the Report includes our latest approved Accounts and update from the Treasurer. It also contains a valedictory for Denis Catlin who passed away this summer. Denis was part of our Championship winning 1st XI over 50 years ago and this piece was kindly written by the captain of that team Pat Batty.

We need a good turn out of members at the AGM to make the key decisions for the 2024 seasons including electing the team Captains. We will also be presenting the Club Awards including the Burn Bullock Tankard, the Fred Cole Cup, the Memorial Awards and the Pat Batty Award - come and congratulate the award winners.
